I agree with JacobBF, young tutors that are still studying may well be just as qualified as older tutors, if not more so, especially if they got good grades. They will have more of an understanding of the curriculum and how to pass their exams because they have the advantage of having done it recently. There is the issue of respect but surly if you really wanted to pass your exams, you would be willing to accept help from anyone that is offering it!
