Default Diplomas 'will be worth more than A-levels'

Diplomas 'will be worth more than A-levels' | Schools special reports | EducationGuardian.co.uk

Unless you have a good reason to stay away fromanything that promises to be 'equivalent to A-levels' All the good universities still like the basic Alevels. Choose tradidtional subjects. If you want to go to a russell group uni do not do BTEC etc and stay away from a-levels like psychology and media. It will take a very long time for universities to change their thinking.

It will take the universities a long time to catch up. They take a long time to come around to any new ideas. You have to remember that the universites are mostly run by middle aged white guys with a private school education.
