Default For those student who tutor...

I was just informed by a friend that involved with applications to the university, that A-level students who tutor other pupils (in school schemes) could be viewed more favourably. Apparently it shows community spirit. THose who are doing IB could consider it for their CAS section.

We can easily tutor GCSE if we got good grades and are studying the subject for A-level. I think it would mostly be maths and chemistry anyway. It is if we hae the time to do it!

I couldn't take a student tutor seriously. They are probably the kids who have no mates anyway

I agree with JacobBF, young tutors that are still studying may well be just as qualified as older tutors, if not more so, especially if they got good grades. They will have more of an understanding of the curriculum and how to pass their exams because they have the advantage of having done it recently. There is the issue of respect but surly if you really wanted to pass your exams, you would be willing to accept help from anyone that is offering it!
